We founded Truvida (or True Life Foods) to make natural, healthy food products available to all consumers. We use only natural ingredients and natural processes to ensure the best quality and nutrition in all our products.
We spent six years developing the recipe for our Granola SunShine Squares™ to make sure that you were getting the best that nature’s kitchen had to offer. Granola Sunshine Squares™ are now available in two varieties, Hawaiian Twist™ and Organic Dark Chocolate Almond Cherry™. They are made from organic oats, dried nuts, dried fruit, organic blue agave, seeds, molasses, organic nuka rice bran, coconut oil, extra-virgin olive oil, vanilla, cinnamon, and spices.
For one thing, we buy better ingredients. For example, most granola is made with about 70% oats. That’s a lot of filler. We use only 15-20% oats and mix in almonds, dates, dried fruit, seeds, a variety of different mixes depending on the product. Another example: most companies that say they use pure olive oil actually use a blend of oils (only 10-25% olive oil, the rest maybe canola oil). We use pure olive oil. It’s better for you.
Our Granola SunShine Squares™ contain a food fiber called the LuraLean® Konjac fiber, which is renowned for its water absorption, and, like a little sponge, gently expands in the stomach up to 200 times its original size. This is why a Granola SunShine Square™ will fill you up, and leave you feeling full for hours. It's also why you should drink an 8 oz glass of water for every Granola SunShine Square™ you eat. If you don’t drink water, you may feel thirsty, so if you prefer a different liquid, try juice, coffee, tea, milk, or even a bowl of soup. Finally, if you want to maximize the benefits of eating a Granola SunShine Square™, drink an 8oz cup of freshly brewed organic green tea with each square.
Konjac fiber is extracted from the root of the Konjac plant of Japan, where it has been used in food recipes for over 2,000 years
Konjac Fiber is also a natural health food which helps to:
According to the American Diabetes Association, people with diabetes need to manage their carbohydrate intake to maintain a healthy glycemic index. One way to do this is by adding fiber to your diet. Another way to do this is by making sure you drink plenty of water. Our Granola SunShine Squares™ can help you do both. A single serving of our Granola SunShine Squares™ contains 5 grams of fiber. You need to drink one 8 ounce glass of water with each square. And remember, a single Granola SunShine Square contains only 12 grams of carbohydrates. That’s less than you will find in an apple.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with our Granola SunShine Squares™ during the first thirty days, just return the unused portion to us and we will send you a full refund, less shipping.
